這個星期是報告週，介紹所訪談的一個對象，可以是親自訪談的或是神交筆談，而我選擇的是Johnny Depp, 以下是我的紀錄。

Jonny Depp 親密關係 訪談

Q : How did the case begin?

A: Based on an op-ed published by Amber Heard in The Washington Post in 2018, I was suing Amber Heard for defamation as she claimed she was a ‘public figure representing domestic abuse,’ implying that she was abused during her marriage to me. Based on the op-ed, Heard was named the Women’s Rights Ambassador at ACLU, and Depp filed a defamation lawsuit worth $50 million.

Q2: Did you continue researching real-life pirates?

A: I’m always doing research. It’s a lifelong fascination. In a weird way, pirates had an ethic that was infinitely more agreeable than the government and the British military. For example, when you became a pirate, even if you were just press-ganged and chucked on a ship, there were equal shares; you got a certain. amount of rations of rum each day. In the British military, they could be awful: “You’ll do this, and you won’t like it, and it’ll be tough.”

Q3: Speaking of tough, what was the toughest part of the shoot?

I had a little bit of a physical ailment. I must have done something to my back during a stunt and ended up with this bad sciatic situation. It was this horrible, grinding electricity going through me. I kept shooting; there was no choice. I’d just limp on set. It was monstrous, man — so horrible that I actually started to like it! It was bad, and I had it for a good three weeks to a month. But I got used to it and kind of missed it when it was gone.

Q4: Could you briefly describe your past relationships?

First of all, I married Allison at the age of 20, but we only lasted for two years. Though later I also had some crushes but they didn’t last long enough, I did propose to them but some didn’t marry to me. There was one named Winona Ryder, she was 17 then, and she described me as “ her first real breakup and her first real heartbreak.”

Q5: Which woman did you like the most?

I think she would be Winona Ryder because she and I lasted for four years and I had a tattoo of her on me called Winona Forever. Even though we didn’t marry each other in the end, we consider each other best friends and I know her family well.

Q6: What is your belief in love?

I never found myself needing that piece of paper. Marriage is really from soul to soul, heart to heart. You don’t need somebody to say, okay you’re married.

Relationships are very difficult. Especially in the racket that I’m in because you’re constantly away or they’re away and so it’s hard. It wasn’t easy on her. It wasn’t easy on me. It wasn’t easy on the kids,” he toldRolling Stone in July 2013. “So, yeah. The trajectory of that relationship — you play it out until it goes, one thing leads to another. So for whatever reason that ­ceases, it doesn’t stop the fact that you care for that person, and they’re the mother of your kids, and you’ll always know each other, and you’re always gonna be in each other’s lives because of those kids. You might as well make the best of it.”

Q7: Do you still believe in relationships?

A: Yes, for sure. Even though I broke up so many times, I am still believing in love. If I can get along with her well. Why not? Now I am dating my lawyer,Jollee Rich, in the UK case. I call her a “wife beater.”

Q8: What happened between you and Allison?

A: I was just 20 when I and Allison married. A combination of my burgeoning career and the couple’s youth eventually led the marriage to fizzle, and he filed for divorce in 1985. Allison and Depp are still amicable, and sources told TMZthat Allison claimed Depp was never physical with her when they were married, noting that he never even raised his voice during their relationship.

Q9: Did you marry Sherilyn Fenn?

A: Following his divorce from Allison, Depp began dating Twin Peaks star Sherilyn Fenn, who he met on the set of the 1985 student film Dummies when she was 19 and he was 21.”We went out for two-and-a-half years when we were just starting out in the business,” Fenn recalled to The Big Issue. “He was very sweet. He was my first love … I had found real love. It was with someone who was walking the same path, but even if he wasn’t, the love and the connection was strong enough — cooking meals, hanging out, laughing and crying.”

The pair were not married before they amicably split in 1989, but Fenn still speaks of Depp fondly. After Heard accused Depp of domestic violence in 2016, Fenn posted a throwback photo of herself with Depp in the 1980s, writing, “I know JCD isn’t capable of the things being written.”

Q10 : How do you react to Heard when she calls you a fat ugly man?

A: I don’t care whatever she called me, I have had enough. She is crazy and I don’t want to get involved with her anymore. What I am now is What I am.
